Meetup For People Caring For The Environment

Project Clean Stream is an annual stream and shoreline cleanup coordinated by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and partnering watershed organizations. Project Clean Stream is held on a Saturday in April and engages volunteers throughout the Chesapeake Bay area.

In 2011, more than 5,000 volunteers turned out at over 220 cleanup sites to remove an estimated 300,000 pounds of trash and debris from streams and wooded areas throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
