BaltimoreBikeParty has something special planned for riders in Baltimore this month: June’s RAD 80′s Bike Party.

damn the 80′s were so choice. whether it was new wave, hair metal, the cure, run DMC, miami vice or valley girls, the 80′s was a pure excess of awesomeness. and, let’s face it, so is riding your bike, right? ESPECIALLY in a huge bike PAAAAAARTAAAAAAY! so dust off your best spandex and acid wash jordache, huge gold chains and high top pumps. coif up your best flock of seagulls hair or side ponytail and come out and ride baltimore to a bitchin’ 80′s track list with all your wicked homeboys and homegirls and get ready for some mad slamdancin at the red lights.
BaltimoreBikeParty meets at 7pm on the last Friday of the month at the Washington Monument in Mt. Vernon. The wheels hit the road at 7:30. They usually ride until ~9:30 with 1 or 2 stops along the way. The ride is a slow pace (~6-10mph) designed to keep everyone of all biking abilities together!

Bike To Work Day, Friday, May 18th, 2012
There will be numerous stations around Baltimore to pedal by, grab some coffee & breakfast, get a quick bike tune-up, mingle a bit then head on to work.
Choose from one of the many stations located around the City of Baltimore!
Stations are open at 7AM and most will remain open until 9:30 am offering coffee, lite breakfast and bike repairs.
(The Carroll Park stop will be open from 7:30 to 9AM)
